After School LEGO Club for ages 7-12 | Term 4 2024
After School STEM Program | Tuesday afternoons, 3:30-5pm | Bookings now open for Term 4!
From tight rope walkers to wind powered vehicles, fishing rods to custom board games, LEGO Club is a must for all aspiring LEGO masters aged 7-12! Join us each Tuesday after school in Term 4 to learn STEM skills, take part in epic engineering design challenges, make new friends and have lots of fun.
Parents and carers are welcome to stay and participate, or can drop off their child and return at pickup time.

- CLASS SIZE = Capped at 20 places (sold out last term, so get in quick!)
- AGE = for ages 7-12 only (Year 2-6 at school)
- COST = Cost for 9 sessions is $180 per term. Science Space members and UOW Staff receive a 10% discount. We are unfortunately unable to accept Creative Kids Vouchers at the moment – contact our office for more details.
- TIMES
- DROP OFF = Drop off time from 3:15pm for a free play in the exhibition, afternoon tea break (BYO snacks/water bottle) and introductory activity (e.g. free LEGO play, colour in sheet). NB. Our front doors will be locked when we close at 4:00pm.
- WEEKLY PROGRAM = 60min program will officially start at 3:45pm and finish at 4:45pm.
- PICK UP = Pick up time is between 4:45pm and 5pm. Front doors will reopen at 4:45pm for child pick up from the STEM Zone upstairs. Please ensure your child is collected NO later than 5pm.
PLEASE NOTE – Please advise on the online booking form if your child has any additional needs or requirements so that we can best accommodate them in the weekly sessions (carers/support workers are encouraged for participants with high needs).
WEEKLY PROGRAM – starts week 2 of Term 4, 2024
We will be starting week 2 of Term 4 2024 to allow a chance for your child to settle into their weekly routine for the new school term.
Tuesday 22nd October 2024 = Superhero vs Villain Lairs
We will be kicking off LEGO Club for Term 4 by designing the ultimate superhero or villain lair! Build your secret headquarters and test your powers by measuring the temperature to see who can create the coolest hideout in town!
Tuesday 29th October 2024 = LEGO Blind Build Challenge
Get to know your new LEGO Club friends in a number of blindfolded challenges! Get ready for laughs and teamwork as everyone works together to create LEGO masterpieces without peeking. Are you up for the challenge?
Tuesday 5th November 2024 = LEGO Board Game Challenge
Let’s get gaming! Get creative as you design your own 3D LEGO dice and invent custom board games. Put your creations to the test in a playful showdown with your LEGO Club friends!
Tuesday 12th November 2024 = LEGO Balance Challenge
Explore the thrill of balance as you build daring tightrope walkers and wild LEGO creations that can balance on a single brick! Will your designs stay steady or take a dangerous tumble?
Tuesday 19th November 2024 = LEGO Wind Racers
Rev up your creativity as you design and build your own wind-powered LEGO vehicles for the ultimate race showdown! Test for speed and distance as your vehicle zooms across the track – who will take home the victory?
Tuesday 26th November 2024 = LEGO Fishing Adventure
Cast your imagination as you construct your own custom LEGO fishing rod! Test your rod’s strength and see who can reel in the heaviest ‘fish’ from our pond for the ultimate catch of the day!
Tuesday 3rd December 2024 = LEGO Colour Design Challenge
Unleash your inner artist by building vibrant LEGO masterpieces using only ONE colour! Search high and low for the perfect shade and see where your imagination takes you.
Tuesday 10th December 2024 = LEGO 4 Seasons Challenge
Create a stunning natural landscape inspired by Winter, Summer, Spring or Autumn. Bring your LEGO seasonal scene to life with plants, buildings and clever minifig details.
Tuesday 17th December = End of Term Show & Tell Week / LEGO Christmas Challenge
Parents and carers are invited for our end of term show and tell week – work together to build an epic LEGO Christmas tree complete with festive decorations and lighting effects! We will also have the chance for parents to check out what the kids have been busy working on at LEGO Club with our Term 4 slideshow on the big screen.
