In 2020, Science Space launched the first science-based play session of its kind to the Illawarra! Join us every Monday (during term time) where we offer a range of different introductory STEM-based activities for the under 6 age group. Guided activities/shows with an educator will run between 9.30 am and 10 am followed by free time to explore the exhibition.
DETAILS
- Date & Time: Every Monday (NSW School Term time) from 9.30 am-10.00 am
(this means you get 30 minutes in the centre BEFORE doors open to the public.) - Stay and Play: Stay as long as you like after your exclusive playdate. *Free general entry is included with your Mini Mondays ticket.

Give your little ones a head start in early years STEM! Activities vary each week and may include sensory play, artworks, science experiments, puppets, construction, playdough, story time and much more!
- Mon 5th & 12th Feb= no Mini Mondays (Science Space closed for annual maintenance)
- Mon 19th Feb= Bubbles
- Mon 26th Feb = Dinosaurs & Fossils
- Mon 4th March = Volcanoes!
- Mon 11th March = Outer Space
- Mon 18th March = Under the Sea
- Mon 25th March = Vehicles & Construction
- Mon 1st April = no Mini Mondays (Easter Monday)
- Mon 8th April = Light & Colour
